Supplies:
4,5 mm hook
matching yarn (worsted weight; I used Lana Grossa Biosoja, an organic yarn made of Soy, Cotton and Bamboo)

Terms used:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
st = stitch
slpst = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet
join = join with slpst

The hat is worked in rounds. At the end of each row the round is closed with a slip stitch in the first stitch of the row. The new row starts with one or two sc's.
The ears are worked in spirals. The rows are not closed. The new row starts in the first stitch of the previous row.

Hat:
ch2 (or use a magic loop)
1) 6 sc in 2nd st from hook (or 6 sc in magic loop), join
2) ch1, 2 sc in each st around (12 sc), join
3) ch1, (2 sc in first st, sc in next st), repeat around (18 sc), join

FINISH OFF

Ears (make 2):
ch2 (or use a magic loop)
1) 6 sc in 2nd st from hook (or 6 sc in magic loop)
2) 2 sc in each st around (12 sc)
3) (2 sc in first st, sc in next st), repeat around (18 sc)
4) (2sc in first st, sc in next 2 st), repeat around (24 sc)
Fold the circle in half to make an half-cirkle. sc around the edge (sc through stitches of both halves) (12 sc)
FINISH OFF

Stich the ears to the hat.


Materials:  Baby Bee eyelash yarn – Sugar plum, Size H crochet hook. Darning Needle, and 15 mm green cat eyes.

Ch = Chain
SL = Slip Stitch

SC = Single Crochet
SC2tog = Single Crochet two stitches together







Base: Ch 3
Rnd 1: 7 SC in 1st CH made, SL to 1st SC Made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 2: 2 SC in each sp around, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.

Rnd 3-4: *2 SC in next sp, SC, Rep from * around, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 5- 9: SC around, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 10: * 3 SC, SC2tog, Rep from * around, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 11-13: SC around, SL to 1st SC made, Ch 1, turn.
Rnd 14: 4 SC in each sp around, SL to 1st SC made, Tie off and hide string.
 Place the eyes.

Under Head Flap
Base: CH 3
Rnd 1: 8 SC in 1st CH made, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1 turn.
Rnd 2: * SC, 2 SC in next sp, Rep from * around, Tie off.
Stuff head with poly fill (I used pom poms, so it won’t go through the holes), Sew the flap to row 13 to the underside of the head to keep the poly fill in.


Legs
Base: Ch 4, Sl to 1st CH made to form a ring.
Rnd 1: In CH 4 sp – 4 SC, then working in spiral form SC around until leg measures 4” long. Tie off hide string.
Make 8 legs total.
With Darning needle and the yarn - Sew the legs flat under the head with the legs laying outward.
